The revised Ambulatory Surgical Center Conditions for Coverage (CfCs) became effective on May 18, 2009. CMS later issued a revised "Interpretive Guidelines for Ambulatory Surgical Centers" that included more guidance on these CfCs.
FSASC, with the hard work of several members, has taken this document and broken it down into a user-friendly format including discussion of each area and additional resources to help ambulatory surgery centers meet these requirements. Below is a table of contents with these major areas addressed.
By clicking on each chapter you will be directed to the section of the guidelines that are applicable, in addition to the resources and commentary available. You can also do a keyword search using the search option.
Please note this website is a fluid project, please check back often for new additions or changes.
